周博士现任教授、全球医学发展副总裁、国际研究副院长、南佛罗里达大学药学院和Morsani医学院药学系系主任，佛罗里达州坦帕33612。周教授于1989年在中国完成临床医学培训，并于2001年获得新西兰奥克兰大学医学与健康科学学院博士学位。他继续在奥克兰大学进行博士后培训，直到2002年11月。自2002年起，周博士曾在新加坡国立大学、昆士兰科技大学(澳大利亚)、皇家墨尔本理工大学(澳大利亚)和南佛罗里达大学担任教职。主要研究方向为药物发现/系统药理学、药物代谢/药物转运与药代动力学、药物基因组学/药物遗传学、纳米医学与中医药。周教授在包括New England Journal of Medicine, Cancer Research, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Clinical pharmacology and Therapeutics, Cancer genesis, JPET, Drug Metabolism & Disposition, Clinical Cancer Research在内的多种药理学和医学期刊上发表了330多篇同行评议论文。他还出版了16本书和书的章节和310多篇会议摘要。他的研究被其他同事引用了8600多次，h指数为46。他从各种资助机构和行业获得了2200多万美元的赠款。迄今为止，已培养博士研究生24人，硕士/荣誉研究生12人，博士后14人，访问教师25人。 Dr Zhou serves as an editor-in-chief or editor for 16 journals including Drug, Healthcare and Patient Safety, Drug Metabolism Letters, and Current Drug Metabolism and is the editorial board member of more than 50 medical and pharmacological journals. Dr Zhou has given more than 100 invited seminars/keynote presentations to a variety of academic institutes, government agencies, and high-profile international conferences. He is a recipient of several teaching and research awards, a member of numerous national and international professional societies, and a visiting professor of many reputable research universities.
